"The Alchemist" Old Tree Hong Cha
Lao Cong Hong Cha, or old tree black tea, is a very special and unique tea from our producers in Chaozhou. There is less harvest available from the much older trees - over 100 years old - making this production quite a limited addition. For a black tea the body is quite light, but the aroma and flavour are incredibly potent with a sweet, intese orchid and over-ripe fruitiness coupled with a sour/salty minerality. A special tea with a vibrant energy. 30g bags instead of 50g to make the starting price more accessible.
