Jin Mu Dan
Jin Mu Dan, or Golden Peony, is a two times roasted Wuyi rock tea that brings justice to its name with a long lasting sweet floral aftertaste. The taste is complex, with a golden breadstick warmth, fresh wood aroma, and grassy astringency to match the overall floral character. Brewing a light amber/red, this tea has a good body and nourishing sensation, which has helped it into the Shade category.
Origin: Wuyishan, Fujian, China
Teapot: Add 8g of tea to 600ml of water at 100C. Steep for 3-4 minutes and enjoy.
Gongfu: Add 8g of tea to brewing vessel. Infuse for short infusions of 10-15 seconds with water at 100C, increasing steep time for further infusions.
